JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 30 - "D" Grades

Schools shouldn't eliminate "D" grades.
According to, mlive.com"students that earn anything under a 70%  is now considered failing.".
This shows that students are going to most likely fail because thats big difference from having a D.
This also shows that we students that have alot to do that can keep there grade at a D can still pass but know the percentage of having an F went up and you won't be able to barely pass.
In conclusion,
Schools shouldn't eliminate "D" grades.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 29 - School Conferences

Parents should not face jail time for missing their child's school conferences.
According to Kym Worthy ," a parent should attend to at least one parent-teacher conference a year or face up to three days in jail".
This shows that schools are trying to force parents to go to their childs meeting by threatening them to go to jail for three days.
This also shows that they are taking school meetings way to serious when there are much more important things to meet about than a childs confrience meeting.
In conclusion, parents should not face jail time for missing their child's school conferences.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 24 - Online Learning

Online learning is an effective way to educate students?
According to debate.org, " online study may eclipse the classroom experience
learning from an online course can be just as effective, if not more".
This shows that online classes is not going to help you as much as a regular school will teach.
This also shows that With technology advancing at a rapid pace, the experience of online study may well eclipse the classroom experience.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 27 - Drug Sniffing Dogs

I think that school officials should not have the right to use drug-sniffing dogs?
According to acluutah.org,"students have the right to sue and protest against that".
This shows that schools should worry about teaching there students from right to wrong but not to catch one of the students by using a dog sniffer.
This also shows that  search by police requires a search warrant, which is advance written permission from a judge that the police have reasonable grounds to suspect that a crime has been committed.
In conclusion, school officials should not use drug sniffing dogs, because they arent the law that needs to bust you in class.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 25 - Concealed Carry

Should adults have the right to carry a concealed handgun?
Adults should have the right to carry a concealed handgun.
According to a national study,carrying a concealed weapons prevents crime.
This shows that community's would be a lot safer carrying a gun for safety.
This also shows that if there is less crime, people would be a lot more friendlier to others.
In conclusion, allowing adults to carry concealed hand guns will help benefit the community.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 23 - Dog Fighting

Yes dogfighting should be illegal.For example, when dogfighting happens poor and innocent dogs get hurt or killed.This shows that people who have there dog's fight shouldn't have a dog at all.
This also shows that people who have dogs should treat them with respect and kindness because there innocent dog's that are getting killed or injured every day from dogfighting.
In addition, dog's have the potential to be a good and loving dog that cool look big and mean or small and cute.This shows that dog's aren't the formula to fighting for money.
This also shows that dogfighting is a distinct way for them because it's cruel to do that to them.
In conclusion, dog's shouldn't be fighting for money or entertainment.

JCCS Academic Language Assessment Week 22

Felons should not be allowed to vote. For example, if they try to vote most of them won't even know how to vote. They will just do it for the fun of it because they don't care about politics. Also the political concepts are too COMPLEX for the felons to understand. This shows that they shouldn't vote for anything. This also shows that they aren't prepared or ready for anything new that they have never used or heard of. In addition, felons do not have SOURCES to obtain information t actually vote for someone or for laws. This shows that they aren't well informed. This also shows that there vote would be wasted. In conclusion, felons should not be allowed to vote for anything they can't handle.
